•    Presenting and selling a range of paints and coatings for domestic, automotive, industrial and marine applications.
•    Consulting with customers, identifying their needs and proposing solutions.
•    Liaising with architects, interior designers, panel beaters, schools, home renovators and large industrial accounts.  
•    Advising on colour matching for tiles and soft furnishings.
•    Studying house plans and creating colour schemes.
•    Administering payroll and accounts, issuing invoices and making decisions regarding write-offs of unrecoverable debts.
•    Preparing end-of-month financial reports and taxation information for an external Accountant.
•    Monitoring inventory levels at two stores and ordering replacement stock.
•    In conjunction with an IT consultant, implemented a computerised accounting system.    
•    Appeared in a number of television commercials that generated significant new business for the company when shown on Channel 10 and Channel 31.

​2004 - 2008

•    Purchased a café/restaurant business.  Owned and operated the restaurant 7 days a week with approximately 10 staff members.
•    Extended and renovated restaurant resulting in a 50% increase in turnover.

​2007 - 2008

​​•    Planned and developed our residential property, building two double story townhouses side-by-side.
•    Assisted architect and builder with developing the plans and selection of finishes for the interior and exterior.
